Branding for Russian -Israeli bakery

BLYN celebrates the convergence of Russian and Israeli cultures in the heart of Tel Aviv. Inspired by the double meaning of the Russian word- blin which stands for a single pancake and a friendly alternative for f***.

The brand merges traditional Russian recipes with the diverse influences of Israeli cuisine and day to day life. The goal was to create a fun and refreshing look that references the local and lingual nuances. 

Bouncing between striking imagery and vibrant storytelling, this brand is all about making a buzz, sense of belonging and celebration of the culture fusion.

Blyn is duo-cultural based culinary brand which faced a lingual and ethical challenge. The idea was not to lean on traditional and generic connotations, but to focus on creating copy based visuals based on day-to-day phrases which both groups relate to.

The brand targets gen z and millenials by stratigically communicating both of the cultural refrences , in a party welcoming attitude with educational added value.

packaging

As a culinary house in the heart of Tel Aviv, the need for takeout packaging is neccesery and crucial. The design tells a blyn story in a unexpected and fun way.
